Extensive feasibility study that explores various options regards to a city centre site. Initial rigorous analysis of the narrative and character of the site provides a short overview on the current options suggested by the client and proffers our understanding of the key issues based on broad relevant sector experience and local knowledge.
Our proposed options take note on the key disadvantages and advantages of the site and build on them. The site benefits from significant footfall along its boundaries, a route between the commercial distric and the City’s Retail Zone and from the pedestrian links to and from central train stations. With the construction of the large commercial schemes the retail circuit has unfortunately moved South over the last 10 years away from the site and will most likely shift further with the completion of other large commercial schemes. The feasibility study explored various options to determine the ideal make up of the scheme which will best drive re-invigoration of this part of the City Core providing a vibrant destination site.
